Location – Velodrome and sports complex

The sports complex is based at Circuit Zolder* and will be opened in September 2023. As the complex is located close to the E314 motorway, exit 27 ‘Zolder Circuit’, it is easily accessible to visitors.

The wooden velodrome of Velotrack International is especially designed with wide bends, ideal for setting new time records. With a length of 250 metres the Olympic velodrome will be suitable for international championships. The grandstand has seating for 1000 spectators.

The track centre is a multi-purpose indoor sports area that consists of four units for sports such as basketball, indoor football, volleyball and badminton, and para athletes are also welcome to train here. This area can also be used for a range of events, possibly in combination with the cycling track.

A fully equipped gym provides the perfect sports infrastructure for the local clubs and schools in Heusden-Zolder. Fitness enthusiasts working out in the 602 m2 fitness centre, with its beautiful view on the surrounding nature, will feel a bit like doing sports among the trees.

The medical centre connects the velodrome and Zolder Circuit. Both will make use of this top medical centre at world level. As well as the medical centre, there is also an exercise lab and a cafeteria in the sports complex.
